Maytech recently won a competitive tender to provide MFT services for one of the largest UK Central Government departments. This government department was looking to replace their homegrown IT solution with a secure, compliant and cost-effective SaaS product that was also:
- easy to use
- able to scale across multiple use-cases
- and supported automation of internal and external workflows
As an ISO 27001 certified, official supplier to the UK government’s G-Cloud digital framework, Maytech was a natural fit to bid on this tender. This was further supported by our decade-long track record of specifically helping local and central Government departments across the UK and around the world with their secure file sharing.
Maytech went up against strong competition from more traditional MFT software providers who were less nimble and did not have such a strong cloud offering. As a result, we were selected as the winning tender. And as a technology partner for MFT, Maytech is now exploring how Quatrix can be deployed in other use cases.
It’s exciting to see Quatrix® being deployed in line with the UK Government Technology Innovation Strategy, replacing their previous homegrown tool with a more future-proofed and robust solution.
